Product Introduction
316 Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Cookware Material
316 tri-ply stainless steel is an upgraded material option based on standard tri-ply stainless steel. Instead of using 304 stainless steel as the inner food-contact layer, 316 stainless steel is used to provide better corrosion resistance and a more premium cooking surface.
Compared with 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel contains a higher nickel content , which helps improve resistance to corrosion, salt, acid, and daily food ingredients. This makes the inner cooking surface more durable, hygienic, and suitable for customers who prefer higher-grade stainless steel cookware.
The basic structure remains the same as regular tri-ply stainless steel: stainless steel on the inside, aluminum in the middle for fast and even heat distribution, and magnetic stainless steel on the outside for induction compatibility.
The main difference is that the food-contact layer is upgraded from 304 to 316 stainless steel.
316 tri-ply stainless steel is a good choice for premium cookware, high-end kitchenware brands, and customers who focus on healthier cooking, better durability, and improved corrosion resistance.
